Weight Loss Herbal Tea: Do They Work?

If you looking for weight loss herbal tea, look no further than your simple green tea. Just like coffee, green tea can help to release some amount of thermogenesis into your body because of the caffeine content.

While no one will drink coffee for its weight-loss possibilities, drinking weight loss herbal tea is known to be able to help you lose weight indirectly. The reason is that you are not likely to add milk or sugar into such teas and as such your calorie intake is reduced. Green tea also contains a high level of catechin polyphenols which are a form of antioxidants that can help with the health of your skin.

Certain green teas have also been seen to have an effect on the body’s release of carbohydrates, resulting in your body burning more fats and releasing a more constant flow of insulin. Of course just drinking green tea won’t help you losing weight at a noticeable pace. You need to drink it as part of your healthy diet.

Weight loss herbal tea like green tea will not help you to lose weight on its own. You need to put it together with a sensible diet and proper exercise regime in order to lose weight. The key to weight loss lies within you.
